Online Psychotherapy in Portuguese for Brazilians Abroad

Supportive psychoanalytic care across time zones.

Who this therapy is for

Online therapy may help Brazilians abroad who are experiencing:

  • anxiety, distress, or a sense of not belonging;

  • cultural adaptation difficulties;

  • family conflicts across distance;

  • loneliness or emotional isolation;

  • repetitive relationship patterns;

  • the psychological impact of migration;

  • trauma, rupture, or emotional instability;

  • the wish to better understand their own history.

This is not a space for quick formulas. It is a space for deep emotional work.

Therapeutic approach

My work is based on psychoanalytic psychotherapy.

This means that suffering is not treated only as a set of symptoms to be controlled, but as the expression of an emotional, relational, and unconscious history that needs to be heard.

I do not work with standardized protocols such as CBT or EMDR. When these approaches seem more appropriate, this can be discussed carefully.

My clinical focus includes psychological trauma, attachment patterns, family relationships, emotional dependency, self-esteem, repetition of relational patterns, and persistent emotional suffering in adult life.

How to get started

The first step is an introductory conversation of up to 40 minutes, with no obligation to begin ongoing therapy.

In this conversation, we can understand your situation, your time zone, and whether online psychotherapy with me is the right fit.

Sessions are held online, by video, in Portuguese.

I work with Brazilians living in different countries and time zones, including Europe, North America, Asia, and Oceania, depending on schedule availability.
